Champ-Champions gets schooled by Ian Schneller and the Chicago School of Guitar Making. 

I recently participated in a seminar on tube amp building at the Chicago School of Guitar Making, founded and instructed by Ian Schneller of Specimen Products.  Above are pictures from the course during which I built a tweed deluxe-style amplifier.  It was a privilege to learn from Ian, as he is someone who I respect, not only for his own creativity and craft, but also for his desire to pass along his knowledge and support traditions of handcraft.  Many thanks to Ian, as well as Nadine and Chester, for such an enjoyable and rewarding experience.  Check out the Chicago School of Guitar Making and Specimen Products at www.specimenproducts.com.
